The collection “One City. One Name” shows us the world and its cities through the eyes of several photographers with different approaches and visual languages. It intends to be a show of unique visions that reflect not only the city and its inhabitants, but also the personality of the one who observes and captures them in an image. The personal and professional background of each of these photographers influences their vision and shapes the books, showing the cities in a non-traditional way, without tourist or more obvious clichés. The approach may be critical or compliant, but it is never ordinary, and it will help us look at different places in an exclusive way. These are world travels in the arms of beauty and uniqueness.
 
Luís Mileu was born in Estremoz, Portugal, in 1972. He studied in Lisbon, where he majored in graphic design at the IADE-U Art Institute, taking an interest in photography in the following years. During the first decade of the twenty-first century, Luís began documenting the characters on the streets of Lisbon – an ongoing project in which he is still working today.
